3 men arrested after alleged shooting


 



Police say three men are in a correctional facility subsequent to taking shots at a SUV on Interstate 4. 


As indicated by police, on February 21, a 40-year-old Jacksonville man was driving east on I-4 in Hillsborough County when another vehicle sped past him and nearly hit him. 


The driver of the vehicle was Jaquayne Davis, 24. Troopers say he and his two travelers, Nasir Hanton 23, and Jahnoy Palmer 21, taken shots at the SUV. 


Specialists say Palmer revealed to them he began shooting as they were run off the street and Davis says he took shots at the SUV in dread for his life. 


Six projectile openings were found on the SUV. 


The FHP says troopers captured the men at a rest stop and held onto three weapons, two were accounted for taken. 


The men are accused of stupendous burglary of a gun, exasperated attack with a destructive weapon, taking shots at a vehicle, and direct release of a gun from a vehicle.
