Drive-by shooting in Spring Hill under investigation

 

The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a drive-by shooting at a residence in Spring Hill that happened early Sunday morning.

The sheriff's office said the shooting occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. Sunday outside of a home on the 6400 block of Holiday Drive, where an open house party was happening.

There were no injuries reported at the scene, but authorities said one person arrived at an ER three hours after the shooting with a gunshot wound to the hand. Their injuries are not life-threatening.
